Community Room Hire
A separate meeting room can be booked (subject to availability) on an hourly basis. This can be used for meetings of local groups and societies (e.g. book groups, craft groups and other hobbies and pastimes). There are tables and chairs to accommodate up to 20 people.
Wi-Fi is available.
Groups can choose to make their own hot drinks using the facilities in the community room. You will need to bring your own tea, coffee, milk etc. Alternatively, you could take advantage of our Blue Potts Cafe service which is available when the library is open.

Blue Potts Library Cafe
Our Blue Potts Library Cafe is open during normal library opening hours. Why not relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea whilst visiting the library? We provide a range of drinks and light refreshments to drink in or take out. Our hot drinks machine makes delicious cappuccino, espresso, ristretto, flat white, black coffee and hot chocolate. We serve caffeinated, decaf and herbal teas, as well as fruit juices, squash and bottled water. There is always a good range of biscuits, chocolate, crisps and ice cream for a treat, or you can buy crumpets, tea cakes and toast if you prefer something hot. Don’t forget to use your loyalty card every time you buy!​
Library Garden
When the weather is warm enough, why not take advantage of meeting up and having a drink in the garden? Our garden is secure and so is an ideal spot to come and relax with the children. Disabled access is via the gate at the side of the library.
